Spring 2020 Alpaca Shearing Season has started on our farm! Since I am hand shearing, it will take a while for me to finish shearing the herd…meanwhile, they will look kind of funny with partial hair cuts and uneven spots. That’s ok because I love treating them gently and not restraining them while shearing.
I will upload multiple videos so you can see how different alpacas behave. This one is Tiffany and she was SUPER cooperative! Shearing tools I use are below this video on this page as well. Enjoy!
